Privacy Notice

How DumpFiles handles upload, device, security, and report data.

DumpFiles is designed for temporary file transfer with no ordinary user account required. This notice explains what information the service processes and why.

Information you provide

When you create a dump, we process the files you intentionally select, their filenames and transfer metadata, your chosen expiration period, whether you mark the dump sensitive/NSFW, and the recovery or share actions you request. If you submit an abuse report, we also process the information you include in that report.

Technical and security data

We may process limited technical information such as session cookies, request timestamps, browser information, and a privacy-preserving hash derived from an IP address for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention. DumpFiles does not require advertising cookies or a user profile to upload files.

How information is used

Information is used to operate uploads and downloads, provide recovery and sharing, enforce expiration, protect the service, investigate abuse, respond to reports, and comply with applicable law.

Retention

The primary stored copy of your dump is governed by the retention period you select. Expired dumps are blocked from access and removed by the cleanup process. Security logs, audit records, and abuse reports may be retained separately for a reasonable period when needed for service protection, legal compliance, or incident handling.

Sharing

A recovery link provides owner-level access to a dump. A public share link is a separate revocable capability link. Anyone with an active link may be able to access the files that link exposes, so share it carefully.

Security

Uploaded files are stored outside the public web directory under randomized internal names and are served through access-controlled download handlers. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so do not upload information when temporary hosted storage is inappropriate for your risk level.

Children

DumpFiles is intended for adults. The service is not directed to children under 18.
